When my daughter Sarah was in high school, she developed a love

6. Repeat steps 2-5 until you have the results you want.

7. Start over at step 1 with another experience you want more
of.

to drive it home today. When they sign up with a health club
they expect to look and feel better by the end of the week.

Look for ways you can reduce the time your customers have to
wait after a transaction before they can start enjoying the
results of their decision to buy. Try to deliver your
product at the point of sale. When that’s not possible, look
for creative ways to provide a benefit your customer can
start enjoying immediately.

For example, a publisher I know recently created a special
package combination of his latest “how-to” book in print and
several eBooks on the same subject. When customers order his
new book, they can immediately download the eBooks on their
computer. They don’t have to wait for the hard-cover book to
arrive before they can start enjoying the benefit they paid
for.

2. Easy Procedures

Customers want products that are easy to use and services
that produce results without disturbing their daily routine.
You can increase your sales by stressing the “easy to use”
characteristics of your product or service in all your
promotions. Convenience and ease of use are often more
important to customers than price.

Simplify your buying procedure too. Make it easier for
customers to buy from you and you will get more sales.

For example, many online shoppers are impatient and won’t
tolerate a lengthy ordering process. Minimize the number of
times your customer has to click to another screen when
ordering online. Use a simple order form instead of a
shopping cart if you only offer 1 or 2 items. And don’t ask
them to give you more information than you need to process
their order.

3. Personal Attention

Every prospect and customer wants personal attention. One
way you can provide it is by giving them an opportunity to
ask questions.

Only interested prospects will take the time to ask
questions. Many will buy from you if they get valuable
information from your answer. You can often include a
promotion for your product or service as part of your
answer.

Answering questions is not time consuming. The same
questions will be repeated over and over again. But you only
have to answer each question once if you save your answer to
a permanent file. Copy it into your reply whenever you get
that same question again …and revise it slightly to
personalize your response. You can answer questions quickly
and your prospects will appreciate your personal attention.

Tip: If you find yourself personally answering a lot of
questions, add a Questions and Answers page to your web
site. Post the answers to your most frequently asked
questions. It will reduce the number of questions you have
to answer individually. But remember, it also deprives you
of an opportunity to impress prospects with your personal
attention.

Every customer wants fast results, easy procedures and
personal attention. Most won’t ask for these benefits. But
they won’t buy from you unless they get them. Make sure you

again. Any unwanted weeds and leaves should also be removed from
the ponds as soon as possible in the spring season.

Backyard ponds look great when they have flowers and plant life
growing in them. Therefore when the summer season begins you
need to begin taking care of your plants. You should begin
feeding your plants. This means fertilizing them. During the
summer you need to remove dead foliage from the bottom of the
pond. If you pond contains any fish then you should remove any
dead and rotting fish from the bottom.

The fall of the year is the worst season of the year for having
ponds in the yard. This is the time of the year when the leaves
begin to fall of the trees. These leaves will surely fall into
your ponds and will cover the top of the water. IF the leaves
are left in the pond then you could cause damage the water and
the plant and animal life that live in the water. When leaves
decay they can disturb the ecological balance of the pond,
whether it be man made or natural. You should always make every
effort to remove all leaves from the water.

Usually during the winter ponds are frozen over. If the pond is
man made then you might want to remove the water from the pond
if you do not wish it to freeze. In most cases ponds are usually
left alone and they freeze during the winter months. Therefore
people do not need to do anything to care for them.

On the other hand, there are those people who are saving dimes and every other cent. Perhaps its because they hate the clutter of change but want to get rid of it instead of letting it accumulate elsewhere or still rely on the fact that change has value and should be used accordingly. For those who find it hard to save, start with a small piggy bank and contribute any lose change to that bank and let it grow. Change that you were going to use to buy a snack from the vending machine or soda, use to contribute to your piggy bank. Bring snacks and drinks from home to save on cash.

Saving dimes may seem difficult to do but as stated before simply start contributing any lose change into a piggy bank. Then take on the next step. If you haven’t created a personalized budget for yourself, now is the time to do so. A personalized budget lets you know how much money you have going out and how much money you have going in based on a monthly budget. Included in money going out will be all expenses for the month from mortgage/rent, utilities, food, gas, etc, and money that you are contributing to your savings. Income sources are listed under money coming in. Ideally you’d like to have more money coming in then going out. If you have more money going out, you are likely in debt, or on your way to debt.

If you are realizing that your expenses are outweighing your income then you need to learn to cut back on certain expenses. Make your lunch inside of buying it everyday, rent movies instead of going to the movies, or walk instead of drive if feasible.

In order to prevent yourself from spending your paycheck once you receive it, see if you can have a portion of it deducted and put into a separate account that way you don’t even see it and therefore wont spend it. This way it seems as if you are working to pay yourself first, opposed to just working to pay your bills. Always remember in case an emergency arises you then have this money to turn to.

Do you have goals in life? Think back to your piggy bank scenario. All that time spent saving dimes can be put towards something, even if it’s only a small chunk of money, it can then be added to your savings account periodically. Aim to achieve your goals, and once you do, you will feel the success from accomplishing them and be able to set new goals to strive for.

So perhaps you don’t have any goals at the moment that involves taking a trip, getting out of debt, saving for a new house or so forth but think about why it’s important to save money regardless.

What happens if your car breaks down, you need a new roof, or need to pay out of the pocket medical expenses?
